Glass Pitchers vs Plastic Bottles

We’ve all seen the pictures of bird trapped in 6-pack case or colossal amounts of waste plastic in an inland river on National Geographic and other outlets. Despite being branded a miracle material, plastic has quickly become a symbol of human environmental desecration, whereas glass retains its position as a reliable material with minimal waste and zero chemicals and carcinogens in its makeup.

Arabic coastal countries at the rim of the Mediterranean have always known the secret to a fresh drink of water. Countries such as Lebanon, Syria and Palestine are famous for the glass pitcher that’s used instead of plastic containers for water and juices.

We must always be mindful to how we treat ourselves and our environment. And a step in that direction is subbing plastic … with glass.
